Defensive End ... Captain ... All-East weekly four times in senior year ... All-East at season's end (first RPI player since Bob Darnall in 1965) … Called by head coach Dick Riendeau: “The finest defensive end in RPI football history. He loved the game completely, and gave 100 percent all times.” … RPI defense was designed for him as he switched to the wide side before every play … Excelled in giving strong pass-rush … In 42-17 win over Union his final season, he made 18 tackles, recovered two fumbles and caused one fumble … Against Colby, a 6-0 RPI win, he assured the team’s victory by recovering a fumble the last time Colby had the ball … Theta Xi … Building Science ... Valley Stream Central High School.
