BASEBALL:
Three-year starter ... First baseman and pitcher ... Captain and team MVP as senior ... Was 2-1 with 3.40 ERA with 40 strikeouts in 29 innings ... Hurled a two-hitter against Siena (got its two hits in the ninth inning with one out) ... Baseball coach Joe Purello: “He should have been a .150 hitter but always hit .275 or better because he was always thinking ahead of the pitcher. Mentally he was a very sharp kid and this was a tremendous asset to the team.” ...

WRESTLING:
Three-year starter ... Undefeated in dual meet competition (8-0-2) in first year ... Was 9-2 as junior and 11-1 as senior ... Team MVP as sophomore and junior ... Captain as senior ... Won 191-pound title in 20-team Hiram Invitational, although he weighed only 175 ... Won 177-pound title as senior in first year of ICAC Tournament ... Had 28-3-2 dual meet record and 36-5-2 overall mark.
