three-time Pizza Hut All-American and also earned Associated Press All-America honors as a sophomore.
As a senior, Clark finished second on the team in tackles with 106 hits and also had two interceptions. As a junior, he led the team with 130 tackles, including 90 primary stops, and collected one sack and two interceptions. As a sophomore, Clark again led the team with 140 tackles, 84 of which were primary hits.
Clark finished his career with 406 tackles, five sacks and five interceptions, including two he returned for touchdowns. One of those was a game-saving interception against Union which he returned for a touchdown with one minute left in the game to give Rensselaer a win over its arch-rival.
Clark, a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Batavia, New York, was inducted into Phalanx and he served as vice president and president of Olympia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering.
He later served as an assistant coach with the Engineers.
