Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Athletics

A Troy native, Lemke was presented the B.O.R. Cup. This trophy is awarded to the most outstanding all-around athlete of the freshman class (the previous year). He earned the award for his superior performances in football, basketball and track.  In conjunction with this award, he was selected president of the Bachelors of Rensselaer Society.  Lemke, a quarterback and fullback, played three varsity seasons with the Engineers and was selected team captain.  He also captained the basketball team.
