MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Freshman Emily Donowick (West Seneca, NY/Nichols School) scored twice and senior Julie Welte (Pueblo, CO/Colorado XTreme) tallied once in a three-goal second period and the Engineers went on to defeat Robert Morris, 3-1.  With the win, Rensselaer improves to 5-0-1.  RMU falls to 0-4-0.

Welte finished with a goal and an assist and junior captain Sarah Daniel (Calgary, AB/Bowness Bruins) had two helpers.  Freshman Emily Ford (Plymouth, MA/Tabor Academy) earned her second win of the season by making 14 saves.  Brianne McLaughlin (Sheffield Village, OH/Ohio Flames), who made 21 saves through the first two periods, suffered the loss.  Quinn Caggiula (Pickering, ON/Durham Lightning) stopped all three shots she faced in the third period.

RPI is home next Saturday when it hosts McGill at 3pm at the Houston Field House.
