Lange stops 35 shots in Engineers' goal

ITHACA, NY - Sophomore Jonathan Ornelas scored Rensselaer's only goal and freshman Mathias Lange stopped 35 shots to lead the Enigneers to a 1-1 ECACHL tie at #5 Cornell.  With the tie, RPI is now 6-4-3 overall on the season, including a 6-2-3 mark in its last 11 games, and 2-1-3 in the league.  The Big Red is now 4-3-1 and 3-2-1.

Cornell jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a strong first period but the Engineers came back to tie the game on Ornelas's team-leading ninth goal of the season.  Junior Oren Eizenman set up the marker.

Lange kept Rensselaer in the contest as RPI was outshot 36-13.
