SCRANTON, Pa. — Freshman guard Whitney Coleman (Etiwanda, CA/Etiwanda) scored a season-high 16 points and junior forward Kristi Baranowski (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) recorded a game-best 19 rebounds to lead Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) to a 76-62 victory over Hood.  The Red Hawks are now 4-3 on the season and finish third in the Diversified Invitational.  Hood falls to 2-7 overall and finishes fourth.

Coleman, who had 9 points on 4-of-8 shooting in the first half, also had four rebounds (3 offensive) and three assists in 24 minutes.  Totaling 13 rebounds in the first half, Baranowski added seven points in the game.  For her efforts, she was chosen to the All-Tournament Team.  Tory Lyons and Caitlyn Charest added nine points each in the victory.

The Red Hawks are idle until January.
