Manhattanville got the first two goals of the game, including the first at 2:20 of the first half, and held off the Red Hawks, 2-1, in a non-league game. Rensselaer freshman Mike Henzel scored for his team's only goal when he deflected a Craig DiDomenico pass into the back of the goal. Sophomore John Thibdeau finished with four saves for RPI, which is now 2-0-0. Manhattanville, which got goals from Chris Myrtos and Scott Viera, improves to 1-1-0 on the season.
