On the game-winner, Becca Townsend tapped the ball back to Sischo who hit a shot from 25 yards out to the upper corner which beat RPI goalie Tara Maradino (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) cleanly for the game-winner. It was Sischo’s seventh goal of the year and first game-winner.

RPI took the early lead in the game 15:55 into the game as Karen Kraft (Morristown, NJ/Morristown) scored from Sarah Hinz (Swanzey, NH/Monadnock) on a scramble in front of Draper as the Saints missed a clearing chance.

SLU came out strong to start the second half and tied the game off a set play as Stanzi McGlynn served the ball into the box and Sischo put it past Maradino 2:01 into the half.

Both Draper and Maradino finished with four saves each as the Saints had a slim 14-12 edge in shots overall. SLU had three corner kicks to one for the Red Hawks.
