SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — The Union women’s tennis team fell to Rensselaer, 5-4, in dual match action Wednesday afternoon. RPI held a 2-1 advantage after doubles play, but the Dutchwomen came back to win the first three singles. Led by sophomore Erica Sherman (Glen Oaks, NY/Dominican Academy), who won in both the fourth singles and first doubles, the Engineers won the final three singles for the overall victory. Both Union (1-5) and Rensselaer (3-1) are back in action at the Liberty League Championships at St. Lawrence University this weekend.
