TAMPA, Fla. - Webster scored three runs in the eighth inning to thwart Rensselaer's comeback and win 9-6 in a non-league baseball game.  Webster, which led 5-0 after an inning and a half, improves to 3-7.  RPI falls to 3-4.

Senior Rich Mundy (Norwood, NY/Norwood-Norfolk) pitched five innings of three-hit relief to keep Rensselaer in the game but it was not enough.  Offensively for RPI, sophomore Shane Griffin (Hudson, NY/Hudson) went 3 for 4 with two runs batted in while classmate Stevan Slusher (Pedricktown, NJ/Penns Grove) was 2 for 4 with a triple and three RBI.

Both teams finished with 13 hits while RPI committed two errors to Webster's three.
