WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Six different players tallied goals, including a game-high three tallies from senior co-captain Kate Phillips (Wilton, NY/Saratoga Springs) as the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women’s lacrosse team defeated Roger Williams, 9-5 on Friday. The Red Hawks are now 2-1 on the season.

Rensselaer came out firing in the first half tallying five goals, including three from Phillips, to take a 5-2 lead into halftime. The Red Hawks extended their lead in the second half off two goals by sophomore Natalie White (Guilford, CT/Guilford). Roger Williams pulled to within four goals but was unable to overcome the deficit.
