CLINTON, N.Y. – Sophomore Erica Dressler (Unionville, CT/Miss Porters School) scored the game's only goal 5:27 into the second half to lead the Hamilton College women's soccer team to a 1-0 Liberty League win over Rensselaer at Love Field.

Dressler leads the Continentals with four goals this year. Junior Megan Brousseau (Heidelberg, Germany/Heidelberg American) was credited with her first career assist, while classmate Caitlin McGilley (Northfield, NJ /Lawrenceville School) made two saves to posted her fourth consecutive shutout. Hamilton, which is 4-0-1 overall and 1-0 in the league, now leads the all-time series with the Red Hawks, 11-5-1.

Senior Tara Marandino (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) stopped four shots for Rensselaer, which fell to 2-3-1 and 0-1-0.

The Red Hawks travel to William Smith College for another league game on Saturday while Hamilton hosts Vassar College in league action on Saturday.  Both games begin at 2pm.
