KEENE, N.H. - Rensselaer jumped out to a 15-point halftime lead by holding Keene State to just 24.1% shooting in the first half and the Red Hawks went on to defeat the Owls, 56-43, in a non-league game at Spaulding Gymnasium.  RPI has now won six of its last seven games to improve to 6-4 on the season.  Keene State falls to 8-3.

Senior guard Destany Eagles (Conway, SC/Carolina Forest) led the visitors to victory with 14 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Classmate Kristi Baranowski (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) reached double-digits in rebounding for the third straight game, finishing with 11 boards, including four offensive.  A forward, she also had seven points, an assist, three blocks, and three steals.  Eight other student-athletes go on the scoreboard, tallying at least one point apiece.

Senior forward Sarah Begnoche (Millville, MA/Blackstone-Millville) led Keene State with 16 points and 13 rebounds.
