SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Skidmore College women's soccer team defeated Rensselaer, 2-0, this afternoon at Wachenheim Field. The Thoroughbreds, who improve to 8-5-2 on the year, 3-3-0 in the Liberty League will host Vassar tomorrow (1pm). The Red Hawks, who fall to 6-8-1, and 1-5-0 in league play, travel to Schenectady to take on Union tomorrow (2pm).

Senior midfielder Anna Cerio (Alfred, NY/Alfred-Almond Central) scored the only two goals of the game, less than 10 minute appart for Skidmore. She tallied goals in the 41st and 49th minute to lead the Thoroughbreds to their fourth win in five games.

Liza Mills (Setauket, NY/Ward Melville) picked up her eighth win of the year, making two saves for Skidmore. RPI freshman goalkeeper Megan White (Kingston, NY/Kingston) made seven stops in defeat.
