TROY, N.Y. - Junior Matt Angers-Goulet (St. Augustin, PQ/Notre Dame) scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, and an assist to help the White defeat the Red in the men's hockey team's Annual Red/White Scrimmage at the Houston Field House.
Angers-Goulet's second goal, which came to 2:07 of the extra session, was set up by freshmen Bryan Brutlag (Lakeville, MN/Holy Angels) and Chase Polacek (Edina, MN/Holy Angels). Freshman Tyler Helfrich (Calgary, AB/Prince George Spruce Kings) also scored for the White. Richard Scammell led the team from behind the bench.
Senior Jake Morissette (Fruitvale, BC/Williams Lake Timberwolves) and junior Seth Klerer (Thornhill, ON/North York Rangers) talllied for the Red team, which was coached by Ben Barr.
Mathias Lange (Klagenfurt, Austria/New York Apple Core) and Will Neubert (Corning, NY/Capital District Selects) played goal for the White, while Neubert and Jordan Alford (Red Deer, AB/Canmore Eagles) were in net for the Red.
