ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Senior righthander Ken Carroll (Shelton, CT/Fairfield Prep.) allowed just one run on seven hits with six strikeouts in 6.0 innings to lead the Rensselaer baseball team to a 12-5 win over Mount Union at Miller Huggins Field.  The Red Hawks improve to 6-0 while the Raiders fall to 4-3.

Leading the RPI offense was sophomore outfielder Camden Mamigonian (Dover, NH/Dover), who was 3 for 4 with a double, triple, a run, three runs batted in and a stolen base.  Freshman Mike Cieszko (Stevenson Ranch, CA/William S. Hart) added two hits, including a double, a run and an RBI and senior outfielder Dan Valentine (Goshen, CT/Avon Old Farms) had two hits, including a double, two runs and a run batted in.
