ONEONTA, N.Y. - Senior Tom O'Dwyer (Stony Brook, NY/Ward Melville) had a goal and an assist and Rensselaer outscored Oneonta St., 5-2, in the second half on its way to a 6-4 non-league win over the Red Dragons.  RPI, which saw six different players score, has now won four straight games to improve to 4-1.  Oneonta falls to 1-2. 

The Red Dragons held a 2-0 lead in the second quarter but Rensselaer cut its deficit in half on a Ryan Bigham (Newton, CT/Trinity Pawling) goal just over a minute after Oneonta's second goal. 

RPI tied the game on a man-up goal by Mike Sampson (Columbus, OH/Upper Arlington) early in the third quarter and then took the lead on a Conor Chocheles (Babylon, NY/Babylon) goal at 5:54.  O'Dwyer extended the edge to 5-2 after three quarters.

Oneonta pulled to one goal, 4-3, just 12 seconds into the fourth quarter but the Red Hawks scored the next two goals for a three-goal bulge. 

Ryan DeJordy (Albany, NY/Columbia) made 11 saves, including five in the fourth quarter, to earn the win.  Kyle Reich (New Hyde, NY/Great Neck South) stopped 12 shots for the Red Dragons.
