RUTLAND, Vt. - Junior Jeremy Bull (Woodbridge, VA/St. Stephens & St. Agnes School) scored 14 points, including two free throws late in overtime, to help the Rensselaer men's basketball team defeat St. Joseph's College, 70-67. With the win the Engineers improve to 8-2 overall, while the Fighting Saints fall to 4-9.

Senior Ricky Philatre (Randolph, MA/Randolph) pacing Rensselaer offensive scoring 15 points. Freshman Daniel Martin (Cohasset, MA/Cohasset) chipped in with 11. The Engineers led 34-32 at the half, but St. Joseph's pulled the game even (53-53) at the end of regulation.

RPI is back in action on January 15 & 16, when it opens Liberty League play at St. Lawrence and Clarkson, respectively.
