Women's Basketball Drops Game to #13 Williams, 58-47

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Taylor Shea scored 21 points with 11 rebounds to lead the Williams women's basketball team to a 58-47 victory over Rensselaer in a non-league game.  Linda Larsen had a team-best 16 points for RPI (1-3), which led by a point midway through the second half.  The 13th-ranked Ephs improve to 6-0.

The game was close throughout as neither team could pull away until late in the second half.  The Engineers trailed by just one point, 46-45, with just 2:52 left in the second half before Williams scored 12 of the next 14 points for the 11-point victory.

Larsen (Kobenhavn V., Denmark / Himmelev) finished with a season-best 16 points, six rebounds and five assists.  Junior Sarah Wetmore (Sudbury, MA / Lincoln Sudbury Regional) chipped in with 10 points for the Engineers.

Chessie Jackson added 12 points and eight rebounds for Williams.
