Conor Chocheles scored five goals with two assists to lead the Rensselaer men's lacrosse team to an 18-3 victory over Southwestern University. Chocheles was one of six Engineers to score at least two goals as #12 RPI opened leads of 14-0 and 18-1. Rensselaer improves to 3-1, while the Pirates fall to 3-5.
The Engineers scored five goals in the first quarter, four in the second and nine in the third on their way to victory. In pacing the charge, Chocheles (Babylon, NY / Babylon) now has 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points in four games to lead the team in all three categories.
