MAHWAH, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw against non-conference foe Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute today at the Athletic Center.

The Roadrunners now stand at 5-6-1 overall while the Engineers are now 7-3-2 overall.

Senior Rob Santaniello put the Roadrunners on the board, 1-0 in the first half with his ninth goal of the season and 60th of his career in the 19th minute.

RPI would score the equalizer early in the second half, 50:46, when Ryan Gracy tallied his first goal of the season with a header into the back of the net. Following Gracy's goal neither team could score in rest of regulation or the double overtime periods, ending the game in a 1-1 tie.

For the Engineers, Craig Bennett tallied five saves while Grant Korten posted seven for the Roadrunners in 110 minutes of play. RPI held a 17-11 advantage in shots in the game while they recorded six corner kicks to Ramapo's three.

The Roadrunner men's soccer team hosted their annual alumni game prior to today's game. In attendance was Athletic Hall of Fame member Nansha Kalonji. At halftime, head coach DJ Pinton and Kalonji presented senior Rob Santaniello with the ball he used to break Kalonji's All-Time goals scored record at Ramapo earlier in the season.

Ramapo returns to action on October 13th when they host NJAC rival Richard Stockton College at 1:00pm.
