BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's basketball team set a tournament scoring record in defeating Penn State-Lehigh Valley, 113-63, this afternoon at the 36th Annual Greyhound Classic. With the win, the Engineers improve to 2-7 overall.

Reggie Colas, who was named to the All-Tournament Team, scoring 11 points on 4 of 5 shooting. He also recorded two rebounds, an assist and three steals. Sophomore
Craig Fitzgerald netted a game-high 18 points, while classmate
Chase Almond had 16. The team combined for 12 three-pointers and forced 29 PSU turnovers.
Taaj Williams scored 16 points to pace the Nittany Lions. D'Avery Rickmon added 14.
Rensselaer opened up a 49-21 lead after 20 minutes. In the second, it turned 12 PSU turnovers into 20 points. RPI also held a 19-4 edge in second chance points and a 73-27 advantage in bench scoring.
The Engineers are back in action on Friday and Saturday, when they open Liberty League play against Hobart and St. Lawrence at East Campus Arena. RPI hosts the Statesmen on Friday (8pm) and Saints on Saturday (4pm).
