THE FACEOFF
The Engineers conclude an eight-game stretch of games in the Capital District with ECAC Hockey contests against Princeton and Quinnipiac. Games are Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 7pm at the Houston Field House. Rensselaer is 3-3-0 in the six previous games played in the area, including 2-3-0 at home and 1-0-0 at Union in Schenectady.

LAST WEEKEND
Rensselaer hosted Ivy League schools Harvard and Dartmouth, losing to the Crimson, but defeating the Big Green. On Friday, Harvard got two power play goals from Jimmy Vesey on the way to a 4-0 shutout. Steve Michalek stopped 14 shots in the victory, while Jason Kasdorf made 23 saves. The next night, RPI won for the third time in a come-from-behind scenario, scoring two goals in the third period to defeat Dartmouth, 2-1. Kasdorf had 21 saves for his fourth win of the year.

RPI TOP SCORERS
Freshman forward Lou Nanne leads the team with six points, having three goals and three assists. Sophomore Riley Bourbonnais and freshman Viktor Liljegren are tied for the team lead with three goals apiece and junior Mark Miller has a team-high four assists. He is second with five points. Three players from the blue line have recorded two points apiece.

RENSSELAER IN NET
Junior Jason Kasdorf has started nine of the 10 games for the Engineers, going 4-5-0 with a .919 save percentage and a 2.51 goals against average.

RPI SPECIAL TEAMS
Rensselaer is 9.1% (3/33) on the power play. Freshman Viktor Liljegren leads the team with two goals on the man-advantage. The Engineers are 76.0% (38/50) on the penalty kill, having allowed one SHG.

PRINCETON SERIES HISTORY
The Engineers and Tigers have played each other 107 times in their history, with the first game occurring on January 18, 1952. RPI holds a 64-33-10 advantage, including 44-30-10 in 84 regular season league action. In 59 games at the Houston Field House, RPI is 38-17-4.

QUINNIPIAC SERIES HISTORY
RPI has played Quinnipiac 23 times with a 6-9-8 record. In 18 league games, Rensselaer is 3-7-8 and overall at home, the Engineers are 4-6-3 in 13 games with the Bobcats.17914

FOOD COLLECTION
Troy Albany Hockey Association is supporting Equinox, Inc this year in their quest to provide Thanksgiving Day meals to every Capital District resident that submits a request. Equinox will prepare close to 10,000 meals this year and will either serve or deliver the meals to local residents that are in need. All of the food for this massive undertaking is by donation and Equinox is seeking support in fulfilling their need for individual Fruit Cups. Collection boxes will be throughout Houston Field House this weekend.
