THE FACEOFF
Rensselaer (6-8-1; 4-2-0 ECAC Hockey) and Michigan (6-6-0; 1-1-0 Big 10) play the second game of its two-game series in Ann Arbor. The Engineers were beaten on Friday night, 3-2.

LAST NIGHT
Michigan scored two goals within 29 seconds late in the third period to overcome a 2-1 deficit and the Wolverines held off RPI, 3-2. With the game tied at 1-1 entering the third period, Rensselaer got a goal from sophomore Riley Bourbonnais at 6:17 to take its first lead of the contest. The score stayed that way until the 16:58 mark when Tyler Motte scored his fifth of the season. Just 29 seconds later, Zach Hyman, Michigan's leading scorer, notched his sixth of the season for a 3-2 lead. Defenseman Michael Downing assisted on both goals. Alex Kile gave the home team the lead at 15:55 of the first period, but RPI battled back to tie the score when junior Milos Bubela scored on the power play at 8:45 of the second period. Senior Scott Diebold suffered the loss for RPI, making 30 saves in 58:59. He was pulled for an extra attacker with 1:01 to play in regulation, but the Engineers could not beat Michigan netminder Zach Nagelvoort a third time. He finished with 25 saves.
