LAST WEEKEND
Rensselaer played a pair of games at the University of Michigan and lost both, 3-2 and 6-0. On Friday, the Wolverines scored twice in a 29-second span late in the third period to earn the win. The next night, Michigan held a 3-0 lead after the first period and went on to win, 6-0. Senior Scott Diebold started both games for the Engineers.

SIDELINED
RPI played last weekend's games without top forwards Zach Schroeder and Lou Nanne and starting goaltender Jason Kasdorf, all due to injury. Their status for this weekend has yet to be determined.

ALL-TIME VS. YALE
RPI has played Yale 103 times in its history, going 55-42-6 (.563). The series started in 1909 with a 3-0 Bulldogs win in Albany. The two teams then took a 41-year break before playing one another consistently beginning in 1950. In the past nine years, the teams have faced each other 20 times with Yale holding an 11-8-1 record. Rensselaer is 6-4-0 in the last 10 matchups and 3-2-0 in the last five.

AGAINST BROWN
In 90 games against Brown, the Engineers are 59-24-7 (.694), including 23-13-4 (.625) away from the Houston Field House. The 59 wins are the third most for RPI against any one opponent. In the last 10 games over the past four seasons, Rensselaer is 7-2-1 head-to-head with the Bears with seven of those contests played in Troy. RPI is 5-2-0 in those games.

UNDER APPERT
The Engineers have faced Brown 22 times with Seth Appert as head coach and are 15-5-2. RPI was unbeaten in the first seven games (6-0-1) and later had a four-game winning streak that included three straight shutouts. Rensselaer has played Yale on 18 occassions under Appert, posting a 7-10-1 mark.
