Andreas Kontopidis scored 24 points to lead the Engineers to an 81-48 victory over Utica in the opening game of the Hilbert College Tip-Off Tournament.
GAME 3: Hilbert closed the day with four players in double figure scoring and shot at a consistent 53% shooting for both half to defeat Rensselaer 88-71 and win the 6th annual Hilbert Tip-Off Tournament ...

ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM: Freshman
Andreas Kontopidis was named to the Hilbert College Tip-Off Tournament All-Tournament team after averaging a team-best 18.5 points on 70.0% shooting (14 of 20) with 1.5 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal while averaging 19.5 minutes off the bench.

ABOUT MIDDLEBURY: The Panthers opened the season with losses to Baldwin Wallace (97-87) and St. Lawrence (63-57) in the Medaille Tournament before defeating SUNY New Paltz on the road (80-63) ... Middlebury spent this past weekend at the Rochester Tournament, losing to Oswego State (70-55) and defeating Johnson State (103-63) ... The Panthers have three road games before making their home debut on December 8 vs. Castleton.
