WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Behind a complete game from 
Aaron Kalish, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team avenged an early-season loss to Williams with a 13-4 win at the Ephs' Bobby Coombs Field. The Engineers jumped out to a five-run lead in the first and held at least a three-run lead for the remainder of the game to improve to 19-13 overall. 
Kalish (2-1) went the distance to get the win for RPI. He gave up four runs on seven hits while striking out two. The Ephs' Marcus Colella (0-1) took the loss, giving up five runs on five hits in a single inning of work.

Christian Spagnuola paced RPI's 11-hit attack with three hits apiece. Leadoff man 
Tyler Listing got on base four times, and 
Jeff Sitarski drove in three. Senior catcher Phil McGovern drove in three for the Ephs. 
RPI returns to action on Friday (1pm), when it hosts RIT for the opener of a crucial Liberty League series. Williams plays tomorrow, returning to their home field (4pm) against Union.
