SKATES AND CUP: For the first time since the Mayor's Cup was played for in 2012-13, the Engineers have possession of both the Capital Skates (a trophy awarded to the team that wins the regular season series between RPI and Union) and the Mayor's Cup Trophy at the same time.
THIRD TIME'S A CHARM: With their win on Saturday, the Engineers are now 3-0 against Dutchmen this year ... It is the first time since the 2002-03 team went 3-0-1 that RPI has beaten Union three times in a single season.
