GAMEDAY: The Engineers play their final game of the season, hosting Vassar College in a Liberty League contest.

ONE TO GO: The game with the Brewers is the last in the collegiate careers of Rensselaer seniors Chase Almond, Tyler Gendron and Will Lewis ... They have each contributed positively to RPI basketball in their time in Troy and will be missed!

FRIDAY NIGHT: Rensselaer rallied from an 11-point deficit with five minutes left to force overtime, then outscored Bard 9-5 to pull out a 58-53 victory ... The Raptors led 23-20 at half and 46-35 with 4:54 left in the game, but that's when everything changed ... Tom Horvat hit a three-pointer, then a layup to cut it to 46-40 with 3:13 left ... A layup by Jonathan Luster and another back-door cut by Horvat completed a 9-0 run, and RPI was down just two with 1:53 to go ... The Engineers trailed by three with under a minute left, when Horvat hit a contested three-pointer to tie the score with 48 seconds remaining ... Tyler Gendron hit a layup, was fouled, then made the foul shot to start OT, and Rensselaer never trailed ... Horvat led RPI with 18 points and six steals, while Gendron scored 16 points.

OT POINTS: Senior Tyler Gendron scored seven of RPI's nine points in overtime on Friday.

FIRST MEETING: Jesse Browne scored a career-high 24 points to lead Vassar to a 70-62 win over Rensselaer on January 12 ... Tom Horvat's 17 points led the Engineers ... He also had four rebounds and four assists ... Senior Chase Almond scored 13 points with six rebounds and Tyler Gendron had 11 points and a team-best eight rebounds.
