Sophomore
J.T. Sawyer added a third run in the fifth, singling to center to score junior
Yahriel Jimenez.
RPI capped the scoring in the sixth, when junior

Game 2 saw the Engineers score first, picking up a single run in the bottom of the second. Sophomore
Christian Spagnuola ripped a single down the left field line, which plated
Matt Lawrence.
Vassar came back with two in the top of the third, thanks to an RPI error and an RBI-groundout off the bat of Brooks English.
After four scoreless innings, the Brewers tacked on two in the top of the eighth. Cory Wuenschell delivered the big blow in the frame, driving a double high off the right field wall, to score one.
A Denis Shanagher RBI-single in the ninth made it a 5-1 game.
The Engineers put runners on in every innings, but the seventh, leaving a total of 14 on as a club.
