CLARKSON WINS IN LAKE PLACID
Sam Vigneault scored two goals and added two assists to lead Clarkson to a 6-1 win over Rensselaer on Saturday at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid ... The Golden Knights broke the game open in the second period, scoring three times to take a 4-0 lead after two ... RPI junior Lou Nanne broke up Jake Kielly's shutout bid with 11 seconds left, with the long assist going to classmate Drew Melanson ... Cam Hackett made 21 saves for the Engineers, while Kielly finished with 20.

NO. 6 LOWELL DOWNS RPI
UMass Lowell built a 4-0 lead before holding off Rensselaer, 5-1, on Tuesday night ... Nick Master and Jake Kamrass each had a goal and an assist for the visiting River Hawks, while Viktor Liljegren netted the lone RPI tally ... Chase Perry had 32 saves for the Engineers.

HARVARD LEADERS
The second-ranked Crimson are led offensively by senior
Andrew Kerfoot, who has seven goals and 17 assists for 24 points ... Classmate Tyler Moy (8 goals, 12 assists) has 20 points, fellow senior Sean Malone (10 goals, 9 assists) has 19.

CRIMSON GOALTENDING
Junior Merrick Madsen (11-2-1) has played every minute in goal for Harvard, compiling a 2.14 goals against average and a .922 save percentage.

ENGINEERS FALL AT HARVARD
Rensselaer returned to the ice after a 20-day layoff on December 30 and fell at then No. 4 Harvard, 5-1 ... Five different players found the scoresheet for the Crimson, while freshman Jacob Hayhurst netted the lone RPI tally – an unassisted goal at 7:46 of the second period ... Cam Hackett made 33 saves for the Engineers, while Merrick Madsen had 30 stops for Harvard.

The Crimson went 2-1-1 against RPI last season, including
a two-game sweep of the Engineers in the ECAC Hockey
Quarterfinals at Bright Hockey Center ... Rensselaer's lone

Junior Devin Buffalo has started all 15 games for Dartmouth coming into the weekend and has posted a 5-7-3 record ... He carries a 2.68 goals against average and a .911 save percentage with two shutouts. 

2015-16 VS. DARTMOUTH
The Big Green swept the season series last year, winning both games by 2-1 score lines ... Brett Patterson netted the deciding goal, 8:51 into the third period, on December 4, 2015 in Troy, with Devin Buffalo picking up the win in net with 28 saves ... Cam Hackett had 34 stops for RPI ... In the rematch, Troy Crema potted the overtime-winning tally, 3:52 into the extra frame ... Mike Prapavessis scored the opening goal in the game before Dartmouth came back to tie it up midway through the third.

The Engineers enter the week's action with the seventh-best power play in ECAC Hockey at 17.0% (19 for 112) ... RPI's 19 power play goals are third-most in the league ... The penalty kill comes in at 80.2% (101 for 126).

CAPTAINS SCORING
Senior captains Riley Bourbonnais (2 goals) and Jimmy DeVito (2 goals) each netted goals against Yale and Brown on December 9 and 10.
