ENGINEERS EDGED BY DARTMOUTH
The Big Green scored three goals in the third period (one empty-netter) to top RPI, 4-2, on Saturday night at the Houston Field House ... Seniors Grant Opperman and Troy Crema each had a pair of goals for the Big Green, while Rensselaer received tallies from freshman Patrick Polino and junior Viktor Liljegren.

RPI KNOCKS OFF NO. 2 HARVARD
The Engineers netted a pair of goals in the final seconds of the first and second periods to down then-second ranked Harvard, 4-0, on Friday night at the Houston Field House ... Sophomore netminder Chase Perry made 41 saves for the Engineers, while classmate Brady Wiffen recorded a goal and an assist ... Evan Tironese and Parker Reno each recorded two assists on the night ... Merrick Madsen had 16 saves through two periods, before being replaced by Cameron Gornet, who had 11 stops in his debut.

UNION SWEEPS SERIES
RPI dropped its first two ECAC Hockey games of the season, falling to Union by scores of 4-1 and 3-2 in overtime ... The Dutchmen scored the first four goals in the opener, with junior Jared Wilson pulling one goal back for Rensselaer with a power play tally in the third period ... In the series finale, senior captain Riley Bourbonnais twice answered Union goals with tie the game at 1-1 and 2-2, before Union senior captain Mike Vecchione ended the contest 1:06 into OT ... Sophomore goaltender Chase Perry made 37 saves, including 15 in the first period alone.

RPI POINTS LEADERS
Sophomore Evan Tironese has a team-high 22 points on four goals and 18 assists ... Senior captain Riley Bourbonnais (9 goals, 7 assists) has 16 points, while freshman Jacob Hayhurst (6 goal, 8 assists) has 14 ... Junior Jared Wilson (9 goals, 3 assists) lead all blueliners with 12.

BETWEEN THE PIPES
Sophomore Chase Perry is 2-12-1 as the starter in 15 of RPI's 25 contests in 2016-17 ... He has a 3.62 goals against average and a .902 save percentage ... In eight ECAC Hockey starts he is 2-6-0 with a 3.11 goals against average and a .916 save percentage.

Through three games in 2017, sophomore goalie Chase Perry is 1-2 with a 2.70 goals against average and a .932 save percentage.

FIRST SHUTOUT
Sophomore Chase Perry made a career-high 41 saves in earning his first collegiate shutout against No. 2 Harvard on January 13 at the Houston Field House.

MAYOR'S CUP HISTORY
RPI and Union have split the previous four Mayor's Cup games, 2-2 ... Neither team has won consecutively, with the Engineers taking last year's game, 5-2.

Union senior goaltender Alex Sakellaropoulos is 15-3-1 as the starter in 19 of 23 games for the Dutchmen this season ... He carries a 2.41 goals against average and a .922 save percentage ... In 12 ECAC Hockey games, he is 10-1-1, with a 2.15 GAA and a .934 SV%.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Senior captain Riley Bourbonnais recorded a hat trick in his first ever game against Union, back on October 31, 2014 ... The Dutchmen were the second-ranked team in the nation coming into that game.
