LAST NIGHT: Rensselaer jumped out to a 17-8 lead after the first quarter and 31-17 after two on its way to a 56-41 win over Clarkson ... Sam Krumbhaar had a game-high 15 points with five steals, while LaKissa Martin also tallied 11 points, along with six rebounds ... Shaina Iton had 10 rebounds with four points ... The Engineers had an 18-rebound advantage (48-30) while forcing 19 turnovers.

SAINTS ON FRIDAY: Kaelyn Kohlasch scored a career-high 26 points and the Saints overcame a 23-point deficit in the second half, but Skidmore held off St. Lawrence, 63-60 ... Kohlasch went 9-for-15 from the field and 8-for-13 from the 3-point arc ... Marlee Gunn recorded nine points, while Cara Waterson picked up a team-high seven rebounds.

ALL-TIME AGAINST ST. LAWRENCE: The Engineers and Saints have played 66 times with RPI trailing 24-42 ... SLU has won five consecutive head-to-head meetings and 12 of the last 13 ... The Engineers' most recent win in Troy came in 2015, 63-59.

ALL-TIME AT HOME: In 31 contests in Troy, the Engineers are 14-17 against St. Lawrence, including 1-9 in its last 10 at home. 

LAST SEASON: Rensselaer dropped both games to the Saints, 69-48 in Troy on New Year's Eve and 76-57 in Canton in January.

DECEMBER 31, 2016: Jenny Scudder scored 12 straight points in the second quarter and St. Lawrence tallied 39 of the final 50 points of the first 20 minutes in a 69-48 win over RPI ... Rensselaer pulled to within 10 points in the third quarter behind Sam Krumbhaar's 11 points in that period, but trailed by 13 going into the fourth ... Scudder finished with 12 points, six rebounds, an assist and a steal in 20 minutes, while three teammates also hit double digits in points ... Krumbhaar scored a game-high 18 points, along with a rebound, three assists and a steal ... Shaina Iton had nine rebounds with six points, an assist and two blocked shots.

JANUARY 27, 2017: Sam Krumbhaar and Elizabeth Eckhardt combined for 40 points, but Rensselaer fell at St. Lawrence, 76-57 ... The Saints outscored the Engineers by 17 points in the middle two quarters and the deficit was too much for RPI to overcome ... Krumbhaar connected on 6 of 10 shots from the floor and 6 of 8 from the free throw line to earn game-high honors with 18 points ... Eckhardt scored 12 points with six rebounds ... Shaina Iton had a game-best 13 boards, along with seven points and a pair of blocked shots ... Kaelyn Kohlasch led SLU with 17 points, going 3-for-5 from the 3-point arc ... Meghan Hynes tallied 15 points and snagged five rebounds and Jenny Scudder scored 13 points and shot 50% from behind the arc ... Shayna Davner also contributed 12 points.
