HOME COOKING
RPI's penultimate home weekend begins with its first game of the season against Colgate on Friday (7pm) ... The Engineers then take on 16th-ranked Cornell on Saturday for Whiteout! at the Houston Field House (7pm).

ENGINEERS EDGE CLARKSON
Senior captain Riley Bourbonnais scored the game-winning goal midway through the third period to send the Engineers home with a 2-1 victory over Clarkson, on Saturday night ... Senior Jake Wood also scored for RPI, while sophomore goaltender Chase Perry made 25 saves, including 14 in the final stanza.

NO. 16 SLU EARNS LATE WIN
Carson Gicewicz netted the go-ahead goal with less than three minutes to play to give the 16th-ranked Saints a 2-1 victory at home over Rensselaer ... Senior captain Riley Bourbonnais scored RPI's lone tally, while sophomore goalie Chase Perry had 31 stops.

RPI POINTS LEADERS
Sophomore Evan Tironese has a team-high 22 points on four goals and 18 assists ... Senior captain Riley Bourbonnais (12 goals, 7 assists) has 19 points, while freshman Jacob Hayhurst (6 goal, 10 assists) has 16 ... Junior Jared Wilson (9 goals, 3 assists) leads all blueliners with 12.

BETWEEN THE PIPES
Sophomore Chase Perry is 3-14-1 as the starter in 18 of RPI's 28 contests in 2016-17 ... He has a 3.34 goals against average and a .907 save percentage ... In 11 ECAC Hockey starts he is 3-7-0 with a 2.77 goals against average and a .922 save percentage.

NEWCOMER
The Engineers added a goaltender to begin the January semester when they brought in freshman Kyle St. Denis from the Syracuse Stars ... He was 5-7-1 in 24 games between the Stars and the Springfield Pics, with a 3.29 goals against average and a .917 save percentage.

PERRY HEATING UP
Since January 5, sophomore goaltender Chase Perry is 2-4-0 with a 1.81 goals against average and a .948 save percentage ... In his last 10 ECAC Hockey games (9 starts), he is 3-6-0 with a 2.75 goals against average and a .921 save percentage.

SCOUTING COLGATE
The Raiders enter the weekend with a 2-2-1 record in their last five games ... They are led offensively by a trio of seniors, including Brett Corkey (5 goals, 9 assists) and Jake Kulevich (3 goals, 11 assists), who have 14 points apiece ... Classmate Tim Harrison (8 goals, 5 assists) leads Colgate with eight goals.

RAIDERS GOALTENDING
Senior Charlie Finn is 5-10-4 as the starter in 19 of 25 games for Colgate ... He has a 3.03 goals against average and a .907 save percentage ... Freshman Colton Point (1-3-1) has a 2.83 goals against average and a .907 save percentage in six games (5 starts).

2015-16 VS. COLGATE
The Raiders took the season series 1-0-1, winning 2-0 in Hamilton after tying 2-2 at the Houston Field House ... Tylor Spink scored both goals in Colgate's 2-0 victory, while Tommy Grant and Milos Bubela tallied for the Engineers in the draw ... Zac Hamilton had 37 saves for the Raiders in Troy.

CORNELL COOLED
The Big Red saw its five-game unbeaten streak (4-0-1) end last weekend, when it dropped a pair of ECAC Hockey games to Harvard and Dartmouth at home ... Sophomore Mitch Vanderlaan (9 goals, 8 assists) leads the way with 17 points, while senior Patrick McCarron (3 goals, 13 assists) has 16 ... Junior Trevor Yales (8 goals, 5 assists) rounds out the top three with 13 points.

BIG RED 'TENDING
Senior netminder Mitch Gillam has started 19 of Cornell's 20 games this season, posting a 12-5-2 record, with a 2.16 goals against average and a .915 save percentage ... Junior Hayden Stewart (0-1-0) has played in two games and boasts a 1.35 goals against average and a .947 save percetange.

2015-16 VS. CORNELL
RPI took the season series going 1-0-1 against the Big Red last year ... Jason Kasdorf made 44 saves in a 1-0 shutout win on January 15 in Troy, before the teams skated to a 3-3 tie in Ithaca on February 27 ... Milos Bubela (1 goal, 2 assists) and Viktor Liljegren (1 goal, 1 assist) led the way for the Engineers at Lynah Rink, while Chris Bradley netted the only goal at the Houston Field House.
