The Engineers hit the road for a single game this weekend, when they travel to Hanover, N.H. to face Dartmouth College on Friday ... Puck drop is scheduled for 7pm.

NO. 16 CORNELL SLIPS PAST RPI
Then 16th-ranked Cornell took its first lead of the game with 25 seconds to play in defeating Rensselaer, 4-3, on Saturday night at the Houston Field House ... Freshman Yanni Kaldis, who assisted on the game-tying goal seven minute earlier, tallied the game-winner for the Big Red ... RPI sophomore goaltender Chase Perry matched his career-high with 41 saves ... Junior Viktor Liljegren scored two goals and senior captain Riley Bourbonnais had a pair of assists.

ENGINEERS OUTLAST COLGATE
Sophomore Evan Tironese scored two goals, including the eventual game-winner late in the second period, to send RPI past Colgate, 5-2, on Friday night at the Houston Field House ... Junior Lou Nanne opened the scoring, before Tironese and Peterson traded a pair of goals each ... Junior Viktor Liljegren doubled the RPI lead in the third period, before senior captain Riley Bourbonnais added an empty-netter.

SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN
Senior Troy Crema leads Dartmouth with 22 points on 13 goals and nine assists ... Freshman Will Graber (4 goals, 10 assists) is second with 14 points, while junior Corey Kalk (5 goals, 8 assists) has 13 ... Senior Josh Hartley (1 goal, 9 assists) is the team's top-scoring defenseman with 10 points.

DARTMOUTH GOALTENDING
Junior Devin Buffalo is 7-10-3 in 21 games (all starts) ... He carries a 2.90 goals against average and a .906 save percentage ... Freshman Adrian Clark (1-2-0) has a 3.52 goals against average and an .855 save percentage in five games.

ENGINEERS EDGED BY DARTMOUTH
The Big Green scored three goals in the third period (one empty-netter) to top RPI, 4-2, on January 14 at the Houston Field House ... Seniors Grant Opperman and Troy Crema each had a pair of goals for the Big Green, while Rensselaer received tallies from freshman Patrick Polino and junior Viktor Liljegren.

RPI POINTS LEADERS
Senior captain Riley Bourbonnais (13 goals, 11 assists) and sophomore Evan Tironese (6 goals, 18 assists) are tied for the team lead with 24 points apiece, while freshman Jacob Hayhurst (6 goal, 11 assists) has 17 ... Junior Jared Wilson (9 goals, 3 assists) leads all blueliners with 12.

BETWEEN THE PIPES
Sophomore Chase Perry is 4-15-1 as the starter in 20 of RPI's 30 contests in 2016-17 ... He has a 3.31 goals against average and a .910 save percentage ... In 13 ECAC Hockey contests (12 starts) he is 4-8-0 with a 2.82 goals against average and a .924 save percentage.

NEWCOMER
The Engineers added a goaltender to begin the January semester when they brought in freshman Kyle St. Denis from the Syracuse Stars ... He was 5-7-1 in 24 games between the Stars and the Springfield Pics, with a 3.29 goals against average and a .917 save percentage.

PERRY HEATING UP
Since January 5, sophomore goaltender Chase Perry is 3-4-0 with a 2.16 goals against average and a .942 save percentage, which ranks seventh nationally in that span ... In his last 10 ECAC Hockey games (9 starts), he is 3-6-0 with a 2.75 goals against average and a .921 save percentage.

2015-16 VS. DARTMOUTH
The Big Green swept the season series last year, winning both games by 2-1 score lines ... Brett Patterson netted the deciding goal, 8:51 into the third period, on December 4, 2015 in Troy, with Devin Buffalo picking up the win in net with 28 saves ... Cam Hackett had 34 stops for RPI ... In the rematch, Troy Crema potted the overtime-winning tally, 3:52 into the extra frame ... Mike Prapavessis scored the opening goal in the game before Dartmouth came back to tie it up midway through the third.
