WIN 901: Rensselaer's victory over the Red Hawks on Thursday was the 901st in school history with a 16-9 win at Whittier over Spring Break being the 900th ... This year is the 75th of RPI men's lacrosse, which has an all-time record of 517-38903 (including the 1948 Olympic Exhibition Tour in England).

David Gibbs was selected as the Men's Lacrosse Defensive Performer of the Week by the Liberty League following the season opener in late February ... In a 17-10 win over Keene State, he had 18 saves, stopping six of nine in the second quarter, including a point-blank attempt with the Owls on a man-up while holding a lead ... He then saved all eight shots he saw in the third quarter when the Engineers opened a 15-5 lead.
