GAMEDAY (Jan. 13, 2018): The Engineers (8-5; 4-2 Liberty League) look to make it a three-win week as they host Bard (0-11; 0-5 Liberty League) ... RPI defeated William Smith on Tuesday and Vassar on Friday, both at East Campus Arena.

LAST NIGHT: RPI scored six straight points late in the fourth quarter and held Vassar to seven in a 49-45 victory ... Rensselaer, which outscored the Brewers 25-19 in the second half, was led by LaKissa Martin, who scored 11 points with three rebounds ... Sam Krumbhaar had 10 points and six boards off the bench and Shaina Iton finished with nine points and 12 rebounds.

ON TUESDAY: Junior Sam Krumbhaar scored 14 points, including eight in the fourth quarter, to help RPI to a come-from-behind victory over William Smith, 59-53 ... Junior Elizabeth Eckhardt had a team-high 15 points, including nine in the first half on three three-pointers. 

STREAKY: The Engineers opened the season with three straight wins before dropping to 3-3 ... They rebounded to win three consecutive before losing two straight ... They have since won two in a row.

AT HOME: RPI is undefeated at home, going 6-0 to date ... Four of those contests have been league games. 

BARD LAST NIGHT: Bard lost at William Smith, 88-39 ... The Herons got out to a substantial lead, but a 7-0 run by the Raptors trimmed the deficit to 33-22 in the second quarter ... William Smith scored the last 10 points of the first half, then did not look back ... Bard got 15 points, six rebounds and two assists from freshman Katie Esposito ... Erin Kennedy added nine points and five rebounds.

ALL-TIME AGAINST BARD: The Engineers are 12-0 against the Raptors, who joined the Liberty League in 2011-12 ... Six of those victories have come at East Campus Arena.

LAST SEASON: RPI defeated Bard by scores of 69-37 and 66-39 during the 2016-17 campaign.

JANUARY 31, 2017: Rensselaer posted a 69-37 victory over Bard behind 13 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots from Shaina Iton ... After the Raptors cut an 18-point deficit to 13 midway through the third quarter, RPI put the game away with a 14-0 run to end the third frame, taking a 52-25 lead into the fourth quarter ... Elizabeth Eckhardt scored 13 points, while Ines Ortea and Sam Krumbhaar added nine points apiece ... Annie Kissel had 10 points and six rebounds for Bard.

FEBRUARY 19, 2017: RPI outscored Bard 29-6 in the second quarter and the Engineers never trailed in the second half on their way to a 66-39 victory ... Eleven different student-athletes had at least one point for the Engineers, led by Shaina Iton's 11 points and 10 rebounds ... Elizabeth Eckhardt and Kinsley Rowan both scored 10 points ... Bard was led by senior Annie Kissel, who had a game-high 13 points with five rebounds and two blocks.
