CANTON, N.Y. - Kevin Ture scored midway through overtime to lift the Ithaca College men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in the Liberty League Semifinals at MacAllaster Field. With the win, the Bombers improve 14-2-3 overall and advance to Sunday's Championship Game (1:30pm). The Engineers conclude their season at 9-9-1 overall.
Ture collected a loose ball and slotted home the winning tally from 10 yards out, in the 97th minute of the match. Jon Kyriakidis was credited with the assist on the play.
The Engineers controlled play for much of the match, outshooting the Bombers, 14-5, in total. RPI had a 5-2 edge in shots on target as well as a 5-1 corner kick advantage.
After a first half in which RPI outshot the Bombers, 6-2, the Engineers picked up their play in the second. The footing around the penalty area was often difficult keep, as numerous cross and free kicks were delivered.
Rensselaer earned a free kick in the 69th minute that was sent just over the bar from 25 yards out. Then, in the 83rd minute, a
Dan Graybill corner kick fell at the top of the six, but none of the Engineers were able to get a foot on it.

Luke Brezak made just one save, while Max Lichtenstein had five at the other end of the field.
