UNION CAPTURES MAYOR'S CUP
Despite scoring the game's final three goals, the Engineers were unable to overcome an early deficit in falling to Union, 4-3, in the Sixth Annual Mayor's Cup at the Times Union Center on Saturday ... BUBELA '16 AN OLYMPIAN
Rensselaer graduate Milos Bubela '16 has been named to the Slovakian national team for the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea ... He is the fifth former Engineers player to compete in the Olympics, joining Joe Juneau (Canada), Marty Dallman (Austria), Mo Mansi (Italy) and Mathias Lange (Austria) ... A forward from Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, Bubela played in 139 career games for the Engineers, scoring 33 goals and adding 30 assists for 63 points.
