FREAKOUT! WEEKEND IS HERE
The Engineers play host to No. 2 Cornell and Colgate this weekend in their final two games of the regular season ... RPI looks for a season sweep of the Big Red on Friday night (7pm), before welcoming the Raiders to the Houston Field House for the 41st Annual Big Red Freakout! (7pm) ... It will be just the second time Colgate has taken part in the yearly contest.
TIGERS DOWNS RPI
Princeton netted two goals in the first 47 seconds en route to a 7-2 victory over Rensselaer on Friday night at Hobey Baker Rink ... Ryan Kuffner registered a hat trick, while Jackson Cressey had two goals and one assist ... RPI was led offensively by freshman
Donovan Ott, who netted his first collegiate goal to go along with an assist ... Classmate Emil Ohrvall also had a goal for the Engineers.
QUINNIPIAC POWERS TO WIN
The Bobcats scored three power play goals in defeating RPI, 4-1, on Saturday night in Hamden, Conn. ... Four different players found the back of the net for Quinnipiac, including Craig Martin, who opened the scoring at 4:57 of the first period ... Scott Davison potted the eventual game-winner at 12:22 of the second ...
Donovan Ott broke up the shutout at 11:35 of the third period, burying a shot from just outside the crease for his second goal of the weekend.
ALUMNI GAME
RPI's annual Alumni Game will take place on Saturday at 12pm at the Houston Field House. Close to 30 former players will be participating in the event, spanning five decades.

RPI has enjoyed moderate success at Lynah Rink as of late, going 2-1-2 in its last five trips ... Prior to last season's 2-0 defeat, the three-game unbeaten streak in Ithaca was the Engineers' longest since they went 2-0-1 from 1996 to 1998 ... RPI has not swept a season series with Cornell since the 1997-98 campaign, in which they won 7-5 at home and 4-3 in Ithaca.

RPI leads the all-time series with Colgate, 63-59-5 ... The Raiders were victorious in the first ever meeting – 6-1 in Hamilton ... RPI swept the season series last year, winning 5-2 at the Houston Field House and 3-2 in the Engineers first ever appearance at the Class of 1965 Arena.

Sophomore goaltender Colton Point stopped all 20 shots he faced to pace the Raiders to a 3-0 victory over the Engineers on February 2 in Hamilton, N.Y. ... Freshman Henry Marshall netted his first collegiate goal at 2:06 of the first, before Hunter Racine and Mike Panowyk tallied for the hosts ...

Entering the weekend, the Raiders are 13-14-5, including a 9-9-2 mark in ECAC Hockey play ... They are led offensively by sophomore Bobby McMann, who has 14 goals and 12 assists for 26 points ... BIG RED FREAKOUT!
The Engineers are 21-14-5 in the Big Red Freakout! dating back to the inaugural event on February 25, 1978 – a 6-5 overtime win over New Hampshire ... RPI has enjoyed a 17-game unbeaten streak from 1991 to 2007, in which it boasted a 12-0-5 record ... Princeton snapped the streak in 2008, winning 4-0 ... The game has also brought about an NCAA stipulation known as the "RPI Rule" which prohibits artificial noisemakers from being distributed at games ...
