Princeton netted two goals in the first 47 seconds en route to a 7-2 victory over Rensselaer on Friday night at Hobey Baker Rink ... Ryan Kuffner registered a hat trick, while Jackson Cressey had two goals and one assist ... RPI was led offensively by freshman
Donovan Ott, who netted his first collegiate goal to go along with an assist ... Classmate Emil Ohrvall also had a goal for the Engineers.
QUINNIPIAC POWERS TO WIN
The Bobcats scored three power play goals in defeating RPI, 4-1, on Saturday night in Hamden, Conn. ... Four different players found the back of the net for Quinnipiac, including Craig Martin, who opened the scoring at 4:57 of the first period ... Scott Davison potted the eventual game-winner at 12:22 of the second ...
Donovan Ott broke up the shutout at 11:35 of the third period, burying a shot from just outside the crease for his second goal of the weekend.

Entering the weekend, the Raiders are 13-14-5, including a 9-9-2 mark in ECAC Hockey play ... They are led offensively by sophomore Bobby McMann, who has 14 goals and 12 assists for 26 points ... BIG RED FREAKOUT!
The Engineers are 21-14-5 in the Big Red Freakout! dating back to the inaugural event on February 25, 1978 – a 6-5 overtime win over New Hampshire ... RPI has enjoyed a 17-game unbeaten streak from 1991 to 2007, in which it boasted a 12-0-5 record ... Princeton snapped the streak in 2008, winning 4-0 ... The game has also brought about an NCAA stipulation known as the "RPI Rule" which prohibits artificial noisemakers from being distributed at games ...
