ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Ten student-athletes registered at least one point and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) defense held Bard College to no more than 10 points in any quarter as the Engineers defeated the Raptors, 68-32, in a Liberty League contest. Junior LaKissa Martin paced RPI with 13 points, while freshman Courtney Lewis scored 12.

Rensselaer scored the first six points and eight of the first 10 - two points from four different players - and the Engineers never trailed in improving to 11-11 and 7-8 in the conference.

RPI went on to 16-4 run to end the second quarter and begin the third for a 37-20 lead with 4:20 left in the third frame and eventually a 24-point edge (50-26) on a Lewis three-pointer heading into the fourth. The Engineers outscored Bard by eight points, 18-10, in the fourth for the final margin.

Martin had game-high honors on 6 of 11 shooting, along with seven rebounds, four assists and a steal. Lewis made 5 of 8 shots with two rebounds, a block and a steal. Senior Shaina Iton helped Rensselaer to a 54-38 advantage on the glass by pulling down a team-high 10 rebounds.

Elena LeFevre scored 12 points for Bard, which got 10 from Caleigh DeCaprio. Sarah Morris (13 rebounds) and Katie Esposito (12) both had double-digit boards, while scoring seven points apiece.
