Men's Soccer Welcomes Oneonta to ECAV on Wednesday (7:30pm)

Engineers conclude three-game homestand with non-league match against Red Dragons

HOMESTAND CONCLUDES
The Engineers look to make it three straight home victories when they host Oneonta on Wednesday night at East Campus Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30pm.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Red Dragons own a 9-4-0 lead in the all-time series, which dates back to September 30, 2006 – a 3-1 Oneonta victory at home. The Engineers are 2-3 at home, including a 1-0 victory in the most recent match played at ECAV – 1-0 on September 16, 2015.

ENGINEERS BLANK ELMS
Five players registered their first collegiate goals in a 6-0 shutout of Elms College on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore Michael Harten led the way with his first two RPI goals.

FIRST ASSIST
Freshman midfielder Shaye Sealy earned his first collegiate point when he assisted on Hunter Best's tally on Sunday against Elms.

RPI LEADERS
Sophomore Michael Harten (2 goals) leads the Engineers with four points, while six others have one goal, including senior Trevor McCaughey, who has a game-winner to his credit.

GOALKEEPING
Junior Matt LaBranche is 2-2 with a 1.13 goals against average and a .750 save percentage, with one combined shutout.

SCOUTING THE RED DRAGONS
Oneonta, who has opened the season at 2-1-1, is led offensively Nicholas Plate (1 goal, 3 assists), who has five points. Scott Cebollero (2 goals) is second with four points, while Roberto Ventura (1 goal, 1 assist) has three.

LAST TIME OUT FOR ONEONTA
The Red Dragons scored two goals in each half in defeating UMass-Boston, 4-1, on Saturday. Oneonta held a 22-7 shot advantage and a 5-3 edge in corner kicks.

HOME COOKING
The Engineers boast a 28-11-12 all-time record at East Campus Stadium and are undefeated (5-0-2) in home openers played there.
