GAMEDAY (Jan. 18, 2019): Following three straight Liberty League road games, the Engineers return to East Campus Arena to host Ithaca in a conference contest ... RPI enters with an 8-6 overall record and a 3-4 league mark, while the Bombers are 11-3 and 6-1.

FIRST OF TWO: Rensselaer is home again on Saturday afternoon when it faces Union in a league matchup (2pm).

LAST TIME OUT: On Saturday, RPI overcame a four-point deficit in the fourth quarter and the Engineers battled back to defeat Bard, 55-52 ... Brielle Sherry, LaKissa Martin and Courtney Lewis led Rensselaer with 10 points apiece ... Ines Ortea added six points and 10 rebounds for RPI, which had a 46-29 edge on the glass ... The Raptors were paced by Christina Kiser, who had 23 points.

LAST TIME AT HOME: The Engineers last played home on January 5 when they hosted RIT ... Senior captain Elizabeth Eckhardt scored seven straight points in the fourth quarter to lead RPI to a 66-57 victory ... She finished with a game-high 17 points, including all seven in a 7-0 run that gave Rensselaer a 60-53 advantage ... The Engineers outrebounded the Tigers 44-38, led by a game-high 14 from senior captain LaKissa Martin, who also had 15 points for a double-double.

AT HOME: RPI is 5-1 in games played at East Campus Arena ... Four of those contests were non-league affairs.

CLIMBING TOWARD 1000: Rensselaer senior Elizabeth Eckhardt has scored 964 career points, including 193 thus far this season ... With 36 more she will become the 14th student-athlete in program history to reach the 1000-point milestone.

FORTY FROM 13th: Amanda Lynch '16 is the most recent Rensselaer women's basketball player to get to 1000 points and currently sits in 13th in program history with 1004 ... Elizabeth Eckhardt is 40 points behind Lynch and 87 from Holly Neiweem '01 for 12th ... Sarah Wetmore '12 is first on the list with 1556 points.

ALL-TIME AGAINST ITHACA: The Engineers are 6-14 against the Bombers, including 3-5 in Troy ... There have been 15 conference contests with Ithaca leading 11-4.

LAST 10: Rensselaer is 4-6 in its last 10 games with the Bombers, dating back to 1994 ... Two of those defeats came in post-season play (1998 NYS Tournament, 2000 ECAC Tournament).

LAST SEASON: Ithaca won both games against the Engineers, 84-63 on January 19 in Ithaca and 67-58 on February 3 in Troy ... Cassidy O'Malley (19 points) and LaKissa Martin (18) led Ithaca and RPI in scoring in the first game, while Meghan Pickell (17) and Ines Ortea (13) had game-high honors in the rematch.
