Box Score WESTFIELD, Mass. - Westfield State's Vawn Lord scored 18 points to lead four players in double figures in scoring, as the Owls topped Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) 78-52 in the consolation final of the Rick Martin – Hampton Inn Tournament at the Woodward Center on Saturday afternoon.

Westfield bolted to a 45-21 halftime lead and never looked back.

Jauch Green Jr. added 15 points and eight rebounds, and Joseph Meade and Marcus Collins each added 11 for the Owls.  Westfield shot 49 percent from the floor and 17-21 at the foul line.

Mason Memmelaar was the lone Engineer in double figures with 18 points and added five rebounds. Westfield held RPI (0-2) to just 35 percent shooting from the floor.
