FOUR STRAIGHT: Rensselaer has won each of its last four games, two of which came on the road.

LAST 10 VS. CLARKSON: RPI is 5-5 in its last 10 games with the Golden Knights, including two wins last season and victories in three of the last four head-to-head matchups.

LAST 10 AT HOME: The Engineers are 7-3 in their last 10 games at home against Clarkson dating back to February 5, 2010 ... RPI has won three straight in Troy.

FEBRUARY 16, 2019: Andreas Kontopidis scored 20 points and four teammates also reached double digits as RPI defeated Clarkson 78-64 in the regular season finale for both teams ... Kontopidis added four rebounds and two assists ... Mitchel Wayand scored 15 points while pulling down four rebounds ... Marcus Giese scored 13 points, Dom Black had 11 and Tom Horvat scored 10 with six assists and three steals for RPI, which shot 57.4% (27 of 47) from the field ... Clarkson was led by Jason Phelps, who scored 17 points, and Matt Higgins, who had 11 points. 

NOVEMBER 30, 2018: Five different student-athletes reached double digits in points as Rensselaer scored a season-high 96 points in defeating Clarkson 96-84 at Alumni Gymnasium ... Andreas Kontopidis tossed in 20 points, Tom Horvat added 18, producing 13 in the second half, and Dom Black came off the bench for 16 points ... Patrick Mahoney (15 points) and Marcus Giese (11 points) also recorded double figures ... Chris Hulbert had a game-high 24 points for Clarkson, which saw Liam Ellis register 20 points and four assists ... Matt Higgins chipped in 13 points and six rebounds in the loss.

RPI ON FRIDAY NIGHT: Sophomore Mason Memmelaar scored 23 points on 11 of 15 shooting and RPI made 53.4% of its shots in defeating St. Lawrence 91-54 ... Memmelaar added seven rebounds and a steal in 26 minutes ... Freshman Will Rubin had 15 points, including a buzzer beater from past half court as time expired going into halftime, with a game-high seven assists and a steal off the bench.

CLARKSON TO DATE: The Golden Knights entered the weekend with a 2-3 record ... After falling to Canton to open the season (60-52), they won the Special T's Tipoff Classic at Alfred State by beating the hosts 73-65 and Alfred 73-71 ... Clarkson lost to Oswego 72-80 on November 19 and Potsdam 90-75 a week later.

CLARKSON ON FRIDAY NIGHT: A 10-0 run by Union to end the first half provided the home team with plenty of momentum as the Dutchmen defeated Clarkson 74-57 ... Reese Swedberg had 16 points in the loss.

RECOGNIZED: The latest Liberty League weekly award winners in men's basketball were RPI junior Patrick Mahoney as the Performer of the Week and freshman Jonny Angbazo as the Rookie of the Week. ... In a win at Sage, Mahoney had 25 points on 9 of 21 shooting (3 of 8 from 3-point range), while pulling down a rebound ... He added two assists and two steals in a game-high 31 minutes ... Angbazo scored 16 points on 7 of 10 shooting ... He also had six rebounds, a game-high four assists and two steals in 29 minutes.
