POST-SEASON: Rensselaer has clinched a playoff bid and will play a first round contest on Tuesday (Feb. 19).

RPI LAST WEEKEND: RPI hosted Bard and Vassar last weekend, sweeping the two games, 84-77 and 66-54.

AGAINST BARD: Rensselaer used an 18-0 run and 64.5% shooting in the second half to come-from-behind and defeat Bard 84-77 ... The Engineers saw five student-athletes reach double figures in points ... Andreas Kontopidis led all scorers with 23 points while pulling down six rebounds with three assists ... Tom Horvat scored 16 points, Patrick Mahoney had 13 with nine rebounds and Marcus Giese tallied 10 points, nine boards and a game-high seven assists ... Jeffrey Coulter also scored 10 points ... Alijah Rue finished with 18 points for the Raptors.

AGAINST VASSAR: Senior Tom Horvat scored a game-high 17 points and three of his teammates also reached double figures as RPI defeated Vassar 66-54 to clinch a spot in the conference playoffs ... Horvat also had five assists, four steals and a rebound ... Mitchel Wayand finished with 15 points and five rebounds, while Marcus Giese scored 12 with five boards, three assists and three steals ... Patrick Mahoney chipped in with 11 points, four rebounds and three assists ... The Brewers got 14 points off the bench from Zach Bromfeld.

WEEKLY HONOR ROLL: RPI's Marcus Giese was named to the Liberty League Weekly Honor Roll after he averaged 11.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.5 steals in 32.0 minutes last weekend ... He made 8 of 17 shots from the floor and 6 of 7 free throws.

ST. LAWRENCE LAST WEEKEND: The Saints saw a four-game winning streak snapped against Union on Friday (70-61) but bounced back to defeat Ithaca on Saturday (84-72) ... Against the Dutchmen, Ben Crawford led the Scarlet and Brown with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Riley Naclerio added 13 points and Chris Miner finished with 10 ... On Saturday, freshman Luke Hicks scored 22 points and graduate student Riley Naclerio added 21 points to lead St. Lawrence over the Bombers.

IN THE FIRST MATCHUP: On December 1, graduate student Riley Naclerio netted a season high 28 points and grabbed six rebounds, while Cale Sargent posted a career high 12 points and helped make critical plays to lead St. Lawrence to a 69-65 win ... Patrick Mahoney led the Engineers with 26 points and nine rebounds ... Tom Horvat recorded 17 points and Andreas Kontopidis added 10, including the 1000th point of his career.
