Odeen Tufto scored with 34 seconds left in regulation to lift then-sixth-ranked Quinnipiac to a 2-1 victory over the Engineers on Saturday night at the Houston Field House ... Freshman Brady Ferner opened the scoring with his second goal of the year at 1:32 of the first ...The Bobcats drew even at 11:51 o the second on Daniel Winslow's fourth tally of the season ... Freshman Owen Savory (4-10-3) turned away 35 shots in defeat, while Andrew Shortridge (14-3-2) had 17 stops at the other end of the ice.

ENGINEERS DOWN PRINCETON
RPI scored six unanswered goals to defeat Princeton, 6-2, on Friday night at the Houston Field House ... Six different players found the back of the net for the homestanding Engineers, including multi-point efforts from Nick Bowman (goal, assist), Chase Zieky (goal, assist), Todd Burgess (goal, assist) and Brady Wiffen (goal, assist) ... Owen Savory earned the win, making 24 saves, while Austin Shaw stopped 36 at the other end of the ice ... RPI was 1 for 5 on the power play, while the Tigers finished 1 for 3.

RPI LEADERS
Junior Jacob Hayhurst (3 goal, 20 assists) has a team-best 23 points through 25 games this season ... Freshman Ottoville Leppanen (3 goals, 13 assists) is second with 16 points, while juniors Will Reilly (5 goals, 10 assists) and Todd Burgess (6 goals, 9 assists) have 15 points apiece ... Senior Brady Wiffen (7 goals, 5 assists) has 12 points.

BETWEEN THE PIPES
Sophomore Linden Marshall (5-8-0) has a 3.70 goals against average and an .890 save percentage as the starter 13 games this season ... Freshman Owen Savory is 4-10-3 with a 2.27 goals against average and a .933 save percentage, which is good for fourth in the nation.

Freshman Owen Savory is 3-3-3 in his last nine starts, sporting a 1.74 goals against average and a .944 save percentage.

ALL-TIME VS. CORNELL
The Big Red lead the all-time series with RPI, 63-37-11, including a 4-0 victory in the inaugural meeting on January 31, 1908 in Albany.

After two scoreless periods, senior Meirs Moore answered a Mitch Vanderlaan tally to earn RPI a 1-1 tie with then-No. 13 Cornell at the Houston Field House on February 2 ... Owen Savory made 40 saves in the contest, while his counterpart, Matthew Galajda had 14 stops a the other end of the ice. 

2017-18 VS. CORNELL
RPI defeated then-No. 1 Cornell, 2-1, at Lynah Rink on February 3, behind goals from Jacob Hayhurst and Brady Wiffen ... Linden Marshall made 29 saves ... In the rematch at the Houston Field House on Cornell scored two goals in second and third periods to take home a 4-2 win ... Morgan Barron had a goal and an assist for the visitors, while Hayhurst did the same for the Engineers, who also received a pair of assists from TJ Samec.

FOR THE BIG RED
Ninth-ranked Cornell is led offensively by sophomore Morgan Barron (12 goals, 16 assists), who has 28 points ... Senior Mitch Vanderlaan (7 goals, 15 assists) is second with 22 points, while sophomore Cam Donaldson (11 goals, 10 assists) rounds out the top three with 21 ... Junior Yanni Kaldis (4 goals, 16 assists) paces all Cornell defensemen with 20 points.

CORNELL NETMINDERS
Sophomores Matthew Galajda (11-6-1) and Austin McGrath (4-1-1) have split goaltending duties for the Big Red this season, playing in 13 and nine games, respectively ... Galajda has a 1.98 goals against average and a .913 save percentage, while McGrath has a 2.02 goals against average and a .924 save percentage.

ALL-TIME VS. COLGATE
RPI leads the all-time series against the Raiders, 65-62-5 ... The Raiders won the inaugural meeting, 6-1, on February 19, 1916, in Hamilton ... RPI's first victory came on December 16, 1950 – a 4-3 triumph in Troy.

RENSSELAER TOPS COLGATE
RPI received goals from Nick Bowman, Kyle Hallbauer and Chase Zieky to erase an early first period deficit and beat the Raiders, 3-1, on February 1 at the Houston Field House ... Bowman's tally was the first of his collegiate career, with classmate Tommy Lee earning his first RPI point with an assist on the play ... Owen Savory turned away 28 for his third victory of the season.

2017-18 VS. COLGATE
Colgate went 4-1 against the Engineers last season, including a 2-1 playoff series win ... The Raiders defeated RPI, 3-0, in Hamilton on February 2, 2018, before coming away with a 5-2 win at the Houston Field House on February 24 ... In the postseason series, Colgate won the opener, 3-1, before Linden Marshall made 29 saves in a 1-0 shutout win in Game 2 ... The Raiders sealed the series win with a 2-0 win in Game 3, thanks to goals from Josh McKechey and Evan Tschumi.
