FIVE STRAIGHT: Friday is the first of five consecutive home games to end the regular season for the Engineers.

LAST WEEKEND: Rensselaer split a pair of road games, winning at Union on Friday but losing at Ithaca in overtime on Saturday ... Bard played Vassar and Skidmore last weekend and SUNY Canton on Tuesday, dropping each contest.

RPI LAST TIME OUT: Senior Annie Giannone hit a half-court three-pointer at the buzzer in regulation and the senior went on to score six points in overtime as Ithaca defeated Rensselaer, 72-66 ... The Engineers were led by Courtney Lewis, who scored a game- and career-high 26 points to go with nine rebounds ... Ines Ortea also scored in double-figures, finishing with 14 points, five rebounds and four assists ... Giannone was one of four Ithaca players to reach double-figures, as she scored 18 points with four steals and seven assists.

WEEKLY HONOR ROLL: Junior Ines Ortea was named to the Liberty League Weekly Honor Roll after averaging 16.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 36.6 minutes over RPI's three games last week.

MILESTONE REACHED: Rensselaer senior Elizabeth Eckhardt scored her 1,000th career point on January 29 against William Smith ... She is the 14th student-athlete in program history to reach the milestone and currently sits 13th with 1,012 points, just ahead of Amanda Lynch '16 (1,004).

BARD ON TUESDAY: In a non-league game against SUNY Canton, the Raptors were unable to overcome a 31-23 halftime deficit and fell to the Roos, 71-63 ... Freshman Christina Kiser finished with 38 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and two assists in defeat ... Jess Rylander added 12 points and four assists and Katie Espositio had 13 rebounds and eight points ... For Canton, Antanasia Chambers finished with 21 points, 13 rebounds and seven steals.

ALL-TIME AGAINST BARD: The Engineers are 15-0 versus the Raptors, including 7-0 in Troy ... Every game has been a conference game with Bard joining the Liberty League in 2011-12.

LAST SEASON: RPI hosted the Raptors on January 13, 2018, and defeated them 55-27 ... Rensselaer also won at Bard on February 9, 68-36.

EARLIER THIS YEAR: RPI overcame a four-point deficit in the fourth quarter and the Engineers battled back to defeat Bard 55-52 on January 12 ... Brielle Sharry, LaKissa Martin and Courtney Lewis led Rensselaer in scoring with 10 points apiece ... Ines Ortea added six points and 10 rebounds for the Engineers, who had a 46-29 edge on the glass ... Christina Kiser had a game-high 23 points, five rebounds and two steals for Bard ... Jess Rylander had 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists and Katie Esposito finished with 12 points, three rebounds and a block.
